OOTD: 11/21/2016

The success of the pink skirt yesterday I think helped me want to wear this today. It’s one of those that, depending on the light, seems a slightly different color. It seems to vary from pink to coral to almost a light orange. I think I stick with “pink” mostly. But it hasn’t always looked as good with black (despite me saying yesterday black + any accent color seems to look great). So I decided to try gray, and actually like it. Glad I did it.

Gold jewelry is also new for me. For as long as I’ve had jewelry, it’s pretty much been just silver. I decided to get gold earrings to match a particular necklace I had that was more brownish gold chain with purple stones on it. It’s predominantly purple, but figured maybe the gold earrings would help it look nicer, and ended up buying a 3-pack set of gold loops. I bought this drapey gold necklace with it, and ended up liking it. Not sure what took me so long to try it, but better late than never?
This also seems to be an outfit where I’ve branched out on brands more for the first time in a while.
